Déesse round and colored Sculptures

Deesse is a french self-taught artist, born in Germany in 1954 in Friedrichshafen by the Lake Constance.

Déesse’s sculptures are a synthesis of actual trends. Her artistic sphere of influence is inspired by graffiti and bad painting. She is applying a pop-cubist style to her sculptures, with lively colours, an extravaganza of colour and joy, such as the brazilian carnival !

Déesse’s inspirations are coming from Mondrian, Klee, Malévitch, Vasarely, whose family she was close to, and her child’s gaze on many actual trends is feeding every day her artwork.

Déesse’s universe, which seems so jovial and happy, is highly sensitive. Her international trips, and her eagerness to glorify shapes and colours, allow the artist to apply her  artistic vision.

Her collections of round and colored sculptures are known around the world, and they are distinctive by their feminine and maternal shapes, such as “Big Star”, “Baigneuse”, Lady Heart”, “Beach Heart”, “Diva”, “Happy”, “Kloé” and more, as you’ll discover on this website.

She will for sure continue to surprise you for a long time !

Déesse exhibits in numerous galleries throughout France,

Europ and worldwide.

New artworks

For many years, Déesse wants to bring her original sculptures and affordable collection pieces to everyone’s reach.

Recently, Déesse sculptures are made with marble powder and resin, realised after a precise terracota model. Then, the sculpture is  hand-grinded, and a mold is produced.

Each handcrafted piece in the collection is painted, numbered and signed by the artist,  to make a unique work of art, with imperfections due to workmanship, proving its authenticity.

Artist’s samples

Each Déesse’s sculpture is drawn in a limited number of samples from 1 to 100 for small models and in 25 or 8 samples for medium and large models.

Often, 10 additional samples for the artist are drawn for series of 100 samples, 5 for series of 25, and 4 for the reduced series of 8 samples.

These samples are destinated to the artist, but they are sometimes put on sale in an exceptional way.

These are the “EA” samples or “Artist’s Samples”, which are enlightened on the site with a golden badge “EA” in the shop.

They are numbered in Roman numerals, preceded by “EA”.

Check when order in the description of the work, on what size the “artist’s samples” are available.
